Ranbaxy to get whistle-blower service
BS Reporter / 02 Feb 12 | 12:51 AM
Ranbaxy will become the first Indian drug company to establish a whistle-blower programme for its employees. A soon-to-be appointed chief data reliability officer (CDRO) will be in charge. The decision is part of Ranbaxy’s recently signed consent decree with the US Food and Drugs Administration and will be in place within 75 days of the decree coming in force. The company will establish a worldwide toll-free compliance telephone line to facilitate anonymous and confidential communication between the CDRO and its employees.
