Kingfisher pays Rs 2.7 cr in tax until Jan

Debt-laden Kingfisher Airlines has paid tax dues of about Rs 2.7 crore until January, the chief of the country's customs and excise department said on Thursday.
The airline, struggling to raise fresh funds, is expected to pay the remainder of its tax dues by March, S.K. Goel told reporters.
