Sujana Towers up 11% on strong Q2 results

Sujana Towers is trading up 11% at Rs 56 after posting an 87% jump in net profit to Rs 10 crore for the quarter ended March 2010, as against Rs 5 crore in same quarter of previous year.
Net sales increased 47% to Rs 234 crore (Rs 160 crore) during the recently concluded quarter. The surge in net profit comes on the back of Rs 5 crore gain on foreign exchange fluctuation.
The stock opened at Rs 54 and touched high of Rs 60 in morning deals. As many as 707,000 shares have changed hands on the counter so far, as compared to 451,000 shares that were traded in last two weeks.
