Sujana Towers gains on Rs 148-cr order

Sujana Towers is trading 4% higher at Rs 69.80 after the company announced that it was recently awarded three orders for the supply of about 16700 MT of 400 KV transmission line towers, valued at Rs 148.38 crores, by SPIC SMO and SEW Infrastructure Ltd.
“These towers would be used in the transmission lines being constructed by them for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) and UP Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd. These supplies are to be completed in the next 9 months,&" the company said in its filing.
The stock Sujana Towers opened at Rs 68 and hit a 52-week high of Rs 71.30 on the BSE. As many as 1.47 million shares have changed hands on the counter so far.
