Allcargo Global Logistics, the Mumbai-based Rs 2500 crore end-to-end logistics provider, has chalked out Rs 40 crore investment plan to expand warehousing capacity from the existing 3,00,000 sq feet to one million sq feet in the next three years.
According to Adarsh Hegde, Executive Director, the land has already been acquired long ago for constructing warehouses in various locations. Only civil construction is required now. The proposed expansion will be funded from internal accruals, said Hegde.
It is also considering to set up a cold storage with a minimum one lakh sq feed area in a strategic location.
