Sujana Towers soars on robust Q4 earnings

Sujana Towers has soared 9% at Rs 35.30 after reporting a three-fold year-on-year jump in net profit at Rs 14.37 crore for the quarter ended March 2011. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 4.71 crore in the year-ago period.
Net sales grew 74% at Rs 407 crore from Rs 234 crore during the recently concluded quarter, the company said in a filing to the stock exchanges.
The stock opened at Rs 32.90 and hit a high of Rs 35.80 on the NSE. A combined 2.42 million shares have already changed hands on the counter till 1144 hours, against an average around one million shares traded daily in the past two weeks.
