Auto air-conditioner maker Subros today reported a 62.5% decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2011, to Rs 2.07 crore.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 5.52 crore for the third quarter last financial year, Subros said in a filing to the BSE. The company's standalone total income dipped by 7.17% to Rs 254.11 crore during the third quarter from Rs 273.75 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Shares closed 0.2% down at Rs 25.40 apiece on the BSE today.
