NIFTY SNAPSHOT
Nifty futures closed at 5262 with the premium of 26 points over the spot closing of 5235.
Nifty Feb futures declined by 6 lakh shares.
Nifty options, in the new Feb series now 5300 call holding the highest total open interest indicating Nifty has strong resistance in 5290 – 5310 zone, whereas support is placed at 5100 levels
Open interest put call ratio (PCR) for Nifty stood at 1.45 vs. 1.46 levels; Volume put call ratio (PCR) for Nifty stood at 0.95 vs. 0.92 levels.
NSE volatility index ended 1% up at 22.89 vs. 22.69 levels; IV for ATM Options stood at 21-22 levels.
OPTIONS SUMMARY
As per options scenario intraday wise, Nifty has strong resistance at 5300 levels, whereas the immediate support for Nifty is placed at 5200 levels.
STOCK FUTURES
Long positions were witnessed in stocks like IVRCL INFRA AND PFC.
Short positions were witnessed in stocks like TTK PRESTIGE AND TITAN.
Stocks to watch out from the long side for today are UCOBANK AND DENABANK.
Stocks to watch out from the short side for today are RCOM AND BHARTI.
