Century Textiles & Industries Limited has informed the Exchange that "We refer to our letter dated 22nd June, 2012 informing you about the Competition Commission of India (CCI) upholding the complaint of Builders' Association of India alleging cartelization against certain cement manufacturing companies including the Company vide its Order dated 20th June, 2012. The CCI, vide their aforesaid Order, had imposed a penalty of Rs. 274.02 crores (Rupees two hundred seventy four crores and two lacs only) on the Company.
